The Wars of the Roses Series

Set in the turbulent times of the Middle Ages when families turned on families, this is the story of the struggle for a crown between the two elements of the Plantagenet royal families: the descendants of the Duke of York and the descendants of the Duke of Lancaster. When the legitimate ruler, King Henry VI, descends into madness then war consumes the land and brother is pitched against brother. The series shows the conflict between the eyes of a young squire who serves one of the survivors of the last battle of the Hundred Years War when France retook its land. The journey to Bosworth Field will have many twists and turns, tragedies and triumphs. It is a journey that will see the end of the Plantagenet royal line and the start of a new one, the Tudor.
