The Rifleman Series

The story of a typical conscript in World War II. It chronicles the life of a rifleman from the disasters of Crete and Greece through the hard days of the desert war and the first victories against the Nazis. It follows the soldiers as they battle through Sicily and Italy enduing success and disaster in almost equal measure until they reach Germany itself and free Europe.
