The Reconquista Chronicles Series

This is the story of El Cid. It chronicles the reconquest of Spain changing it from Al-Andalus to Spain. It tells the story of the larger than life, El Cid who served kings but cared more about his land and his honour. It shows the man whose story still casts a long shadow over the Iberian Peninsula. He as the man who united Moor and Christian under one banner. Fictional characters live cheek by jowl with the real people who lived at the time.
