The Napoleonic Horseman Series

Napoleonic Horseman is a sweeping 10-book saga of war, loyalty and transformation, as viewed from the perspective of a young horseman caught in the storm of revolution and the rise of empire.

A French Maquis’ illegitimate half Scottish son is left alone when his father is taken to the guillotine. After joining a French cavalry regiment, he fights in Italy and in Egypt for the future Emperor of the French. Fate intervenes and he leaves the regiment, heading, first, to Italy and then to England where he joins an English cavalry regiment and becomes one of Wellington’s Exploring Officers.
