The Conquest Series

This series is set in the time of the Norman conquest and follows the adventures of a boy who is the bastard son of a Norman knight. His mother was an English slave. The series chronicles his life from a pueros to a knight. We see the background to the battle for the crown of England and all its riches. When he becomes a servant to Taillefer he is introduced into the world of Duke William and it is there that his fortune changes and he becomes a knight entrusted with keeping the new King of England’s lands safe.
