The Carthaginian Series
Carthaginian is a story set in the 1st and 2nd Punic Wars. The series begins when some Celtic warriors find themselves in need of work and join the Carthaginian army to fight against Rome for Hamilcar Barca. The last of the warriors becomes the man who trains the son of a Carthaginian noble and Himilco Bomilcar. After losing Sicily, Hamilcar and his son go to conquer Spain, and when Hamilcar dies his son takes over and challenges the Romans, crossing the Alps. Himilco Bomilcar is at his side on this epic journey from Africa to Rome when two empires collide and struggle for mastery of the ancient world.
