Tudor Warrior is the first book in a trilogy. It begins with the Battle of Bosworth Field and is about the early days of Henry VII’s reign. Lambert Simnel and Perkin Warbeck are two imposters who are the figureheads of a Yorkist attempt to retake the crown. The story is told through the eyes of a young billman, James of Ecclestone and his adventures in both England and Flanders.
The series was inspired by a summer visit to Flodden Field. James will fight in that battle but that will be in the third novel in the series.
