My new book, Rebellion, is out today!
It is the third book in my Conquest series; we are following our young hero who followed King William and who was at the battle of Hastings (book one). He is now in the north of England and the natives are, as they say, getting restless. Opinion is divided, but I fall on the side that King William had a fairly good right to be king, and while King Harold wasn’t a bad king, he was dead, and the ones who were left, like Morcar and Edwin, they just weren’t very good. I think it was a good thing for England that we had a strong king like King William. Having said that, he was not a particularly nice man and he did harry the North, and this book, I hope, reflects some of that. Hope you enjoy it!
