DDay80 visit

Published on Wednesday 5th June 2024 by Griff Hosker

We had four very moving days in Normandy in the last week of May 2024, and here is an album of the trip.

There are photographs of Pegasus Bridge, Sword Beach (Queen Red), the statue of the piper, Bill Millin, the grave of my dad’s cousin, George Hogan, at Hermanville military cemetery, Juno Beach, the Mulberry at Arromanches, the British Normandy Memorial at Ver-sur-Mer, currently featuring Standing With Giants (until 31 August 2024), Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, Sainte-Mere-Eglise and the Normandy American Cemetery.
