On November 19th I will publish a brand new series. Set at the time of the Spanish conquest of the Americas, I have written it from the viewpoint of a slave, an English pirate captured by the Spanish. The Errol Flynn films of the thirties and forties had an influence on me. The first book delves into the conquest of first, Panama and then Mexico. The intrigues of the conquistadors were fascinating to read as were the reasons that they managed to conquer an indigenous population that had a well organised and trained army.
Book 2 will look at the Incas.
